Asphalt Recycling

Chunks of reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP), hardened virgin hot mix and asphalt millings (grindings) can be placed in the hopper of a Falcon Asphalt Recycler and returned to a useable form. By surrounding the material with 350 degree temperatures, the chunks of material can be returned to their original malleable form.

The time it takes to recycle the asphalt depends on the age of the material, density of the material and the ambient air temperature. Typical operating procedure is to load the hopper at the end of the workday, set the 24-hour  timer allowing the material to recycle overnight.   The automatic temperature control feature of the machine will keep the material at the appropriate temperature until street crews are ready to begin repairing utility cuts, shoulders, potholes and patches.

A Falcon Asphalt Recycler is a mobile asphalt plant open year round.
